Anger Management

Control Your Anger and Improve Your Life

What Is Anger?
Anger is a feeling. The fact that you feel angry is not the problem, it’s what you do with it that makes all the difference. Sometimes we have difficulty in expressing how we really feel and then decide to act in a way that gets us into a lot of trouble with our family, friends and at times, with the law.

Our Anger Management Program will show you how to:
STOP destructive and offending behaviour to others and yourself
RECOGNIZE what is happening much earlier – and understand you have a range of strategies to use
DECIDE which strategy is best for the situation and how to apply it

Discover your own triggers of anger.
Identify the many ways anger can be expressed.
Learn the consequences of anger on yourself, partner and children.
Increase self-awareness. Learn how alcohol and other drugs can increase anger outbursts.
Use proven techniques in situations such as road rage, pub brawls, conflict at home, and work.
Reduce stress and avoid health issues such as headache, stroke, heart attack, high blood pressure etc.
Improve communication with family and friends.

Note: This is not a Family Violence based course. Although the evidenced based strategies taught in this course would be very useful within family violence situations, there is another program on this website to specifically address this need. Click on Men’s Behaviour Change Program for more information.

Letter of Enrolment: A letter of enrolment for any course can be provided to you upon request, after receiving your registration form and payment. After writing your letter and if you withdraw from the program before the deadline date (7 days before the program) we will provide a refund minus $150 for the letter. After the deadline date, there is no refund  as a place on the program was kept for you excluding someone else and now cannot be filled. If you continue with the program, there is no cost for the letter of enrolment.

The Anger Management Program has 3 format options. All are conducted via Zoom.
